I will not lose my love for you
Written by William F. DeVault on April 3, 2008 – 12:09 pm -A new poem, that literally came up in conversation with Candy.
I will not lose my love for you
I will not lose my love for you,
in this you can believe.
I will not lose my love for you,
I promise I won’t leave.
I will not be like other men
a counterfeit, a fraud,
I take this vow without regret
before you, all and God.

Candy is the luckiest peacat that ever did live. And she knows it.

And I am blessed beyond imagining to have you in my life.

I am just discovering you and very touched and moved by the passion in which u write. I myself was an avid poet but several years ago someone stole hundreds of original poems and songs I had written and I lost my passion for writing. Thank you so much for at least instilling some of that back to a place I thought was long since voided. To echo what you said in you poem ” I will never lose my love for you”. I tell the love of my life that I will take the memory of him with me to heaven. It is just to awesome of a feeling to let something small as death prevent me from enjoying the aroma of his love by the small limit of a body. My Soul will carry him forever more. Thank you for all u do.

Thank you for reminding me of one of the reasons I do what I do. God bless.

Alas, no. She slipped from my life without a word of explanation, leaving me shattered, but resolute. I am now not only Ronin, but patchwork as well.
