And I make no bones about the fact that I remain on the POD route, loving the control I retain over the muddles of mediocrity that are the mainstream publishers. Every time I sit down with a publisher, I am disgusted by their pretensions that they know my work (they don’t), my audience (they don’t) and what is best (ha!).
